Scott Corbin is running for re-election as Holland City council member for Ward 5. He was elected in 2017 and his full-time job is director of emergency management and homeland security for Allegan County. Scott serves as the Holland City representative on the West Michigan Airport Authority as the vice-chairman, on the Parks and Recreation Committee, and the Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.
Scott earned a master’s degree from the Naval Post Graduate School in homeland defense and security. In addition, Scott holds a bachelor of arts degree in organizational management from Bluffton University, as well as an associate’s degree in law enforcement from Owens Technical College.
