Andrea Garrison is running for the Michigan House of Representatives in the 85th District. Garrison graduated from the University of Michigan and used her degree to help companies and nonprofits launch new, cutting-edge programs. Garrison was selected by the State of Michigan and managed a multi-million dollar program that allowed a Michigan nonprofit to create jobs in life sciences over the span of 2003-2006.
Garrison’s platform includes strengthening Michigan’s school systems by increasing educators' pay and offering debt-relief to entice Michiganders to go into teaching. Garrison’s also focusing on fixing our infrastructure and switching to completely renewable energy, targeting areas with low-income housing and offering vocational training, cleaning our air and water, as well as lowering prescription drug costs and the cost of healthcare.
Garrison is endorsed by three of our partner organizations including the American Federation of Teachers, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, and Between the Lines.
Garrison is running against Graham Filler, an incumbent with a very conservative voting history and support from DeVos-connected organizations like the Great Lakes Education Project.
Garrison is the progressive choice in this race.

Joe Biden
Joseph R. Biden, Jr. is the Democratic candidate for President of the United States. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden has a long career in public service, most notably serving as Vice President alongside President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2016.
Chief Justice Bridget Mary McCormack and Elizabeth Welch are our recommendations for the Michigan Supreme Court. Both candidates will protect our civil rights while ensuring justice for all.
The Michigan Supreme Court race appears on the non-partisan section of the ballot, but McCormack and Welch were nominated by the Michigan Democratic Party. Be sure to turn your ballot over and do not leave this important race blank.
