As a Pennsylvania state legislator and dedicated organizer and advocate for social justice, Summer Lee has fought tirelessly to lift up movements and bring real change to her community. Now, she is running for Congress in PA-12 to fight for her community’s chance to build a brighter future. The current majority in Congress has accomplished significant progress over the last two years, including a vital pandemic relief package, a historic bipartisan infrastructure bill, the first gun safety bill in decades and the Inflation Reduction Act to lower costs, create jobs, and grow the economy.

The most recent Republican majority did deep damage to the country from 2017 to 2018, including exacerbating income inequality and the ability of many Pennsylvanians to afford the cost of living.

Chris Deluzio is a Pittsburgh-area native, Iraq War Veteran, and voting rights attorney. He knows that we need bold action to protect and strengthen our democracy and he won’t shy from a fight with those on the radical right who would attack our freedom to vote, our reproductive rights, or our unions. Chris knows we should be making things in this country and we should be making them with union workers right here in Pennsylvania. He will take on corporate power to protect workers, consumers, and our communities while meeting our climate goals to reduce carbon emissions and investing in clean energy sources through the creation of union jobs.
