Anthony Feig is a Democrat running for the Michigan House of Representatives for the 92nd District. Feig grew up in a working class family as the son of a single mother. He worked his way through college as a first-generation college student and has since obtained a Doctoral degree in Science Education Policy. Feig and his wife are now faculty at Central Michigan University and live with their family in Mount Pleasant.
Feig’s priorities will include expanding access to affordable health care including in rural areas, fighting for the government to be able to negotiate drug prices, supporting organized labor, expanding access to higher education and trade schools, closing the funding gap for Michigan’s public schools, and fighting for equality for all Michiganders. As a scientist, Feig is also focused on addressing climate change by working to support farmers as they adapt, developing plans with communities to mitigate the effects of climate change, and boosting our economy by developing an alternative energy infrastructure while fighting for environmental justice.
Feig is endorsed by seven of our partners: Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan, Michigan AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers Michigan, Sierra Club Michigan Chapter, Michigan League of Conservation Voters, Michigan Education Association, and Equality Michigan.
Feig is running against Republican Jerry Neyer. Neyer is anti-reproductive freedom and is endorsed by the anti-choice organization Right to Life Michigan.
Feig is the most progressive choice in this race.
