She was originally elected to this seat in 2023 and in her time as counselor she has served the Historic Preservation Commission, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, and as a Rocky Mountain Partnership Representative. Roper is Principal at Thunder Vista PK-8 and is working towards a doctorate in education.
