Together we are committed to both civil dialogue and transformational action while we seek to keep our faiths and beliefs as an inspiration and direction for all that we do.

Since 1974, the Arizona Students’ Association has advocated on behalf of the students of Arizona’s three public universities. As a student-led, 501c4 non-profit, ASA is dedicated to keeping higher education affordable and accessible. Increasingly Arizona students are attending community colleges as a supplement, or even as an alternative, to public universities; leading ASA to expand to represent community college students in the year of 2014. Since its inception 49 years ago, ASA has registered nearly 100,000 students to vote, developed thousands of students to be leaders on and off campus and worked to ensure students always have a voice surrounding issues that directly impact them.

We are increasing awareness of progressive issues among our coalition members’ constituencies and targeted voting populations to increase our political strength. We have an electoral strategy and infrastructure now capturing the energy and strength of Arizona progressives to effectively impact elections. Through close collaboration between community groups, Arizona Wins has taken charge of securing progressive goals for Arizona.

Arizona Working Families Party

The Working Families Party is regular people coming together across our differences to make a better future for us all. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful. One Arizona

In the wake of SB1070, four immigrant rights organizations came together with the goal of registering 12,000 Latino voters. Shortly afterwards, One Arizona was born.

Ten years later, One Arizona is made up of 28 organizations active all over Arizona. We are completely nonpartisan, focused on improving the lives of Arizonans, especially people of color and young people, by building a culture of civic participation.

We build power by mobilizing voters, training the next generation of leaders, electing champions to office, and holding elected officials accountable. We work to empower our communities by putting people first to ensure all voices are heard.

ProgressNow Arizona

At Progress Arizona, our vision is an Arizona that works for everyone, no matter who you are, where you’re from, who you love or how much you make. Every time you sign one of our petitions, come out to an event, or share our content, you bring that vision closer.

As a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, we serve as a digital hub for Arizona progressives. We offer training, coaching and coordination to grassroots groups, provide strategic rapid response capacity, and execute cutting-edge digital campaigns.

We’ve been fighting for a more progressive Arizona since 2013. In our first years, we got our name exposing state legislators who were being wined and dined by lobbyists with ALEC. Since then, we’ve helped block countless attacks on voting rights, working people, public education and immigrant families. We’ve called out state legislators and our governor for racism, bigotry and corruption. We’ve helped mobilize record-breaking voter turnout from young people and people of color. In short, as Republican legislator John Fillmore once said, we are at the forefront of “progressive scary thought” in Arizona. And proud of it.

SEIU

SEIU

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is a union of about 2 million diverse members in healthcare, the public sector and property services who believe in and fight for our Vision for a Just Society: where all workers are valued and all people respected—no matter where we come from or what color we are; where all families and communities can thrive; and where we leave a better and more equitable world for generations to come.

Unite Here! Local 11

UNITE HERE Local 11 represents over 32,000 workers employed in hotels, restaurants, airports, sports arenas, and convention centers throughout Southern California and Arizona.

VetsForward

America’s veterans are great communicators, particularly those who have worked in civil affairs, where they’ve learned to communicate across cultural divides to build community. VetsForward puts those skills to work by mobilizing America’s military veterans to engage voters in meaningful conversation about the American values they fought for in the service—the same values that make our democracy strong.
