There are two good choices in this race for Charter Review Commission District 4, Position 3. Cathy Pearsall-Stipek is a well liked former Pierce County Auditor and former state legislator with direct experience working under the County Charter.

Her opponents include another qualified candidate, Jamie Nixon, who is running for charter review on the principles of accessible, responsive, and accountable government. He has experience working in government. Additional opponents include Clare Bungay, a progressive teacher; teacher and $15 Now! advocate Max Hyland; John Orlando, a theater consultant and son of Judge James Orlando; conservative Gerald (Jerry) Jackson; former conservative city councilman Jack Curtis; architect and relative unknown Matt Larson; and writer and non-politically affiliated Greg Cook.
