Roe has been heavily involved in efforts to revitalize downtown Janesville, and as a 30-year resident of the city, she is in tune with local issues. She is interested in tackling Wisconsin’s affordable housing crisis, fighting for the right to choose an abortion, and raising the minimum wage. As a mother, Roe also knows that out-of-control healthcare and childcare costs are causing many families to struggle. She is running against Republican candidate Bruce Danielson, who supported the August referendums seeking to hamper state responses to emergency situations.
