Roger Halls is a 20-year resident of northwest Wisconsin, and a Bronze Star Army veteran. Halls has served on the Stanley City Council and has been active in the community with Big Brothers Big Sisters and other charitable organizations. He is running for Assembly to lead by example and work for what is best for fellow Wisconsinites. Halls believes in the right to choose an abortion and that the wealthy should be paying their fair share of taxes. He’s also passionate about the necessity of quality, accessible healthcare, including mental healthcare, for all. Halls is running against Republican Representative Karen Hurd, who has been endorsed by radical anti-abortion groups aiming to outlaw the procedure in Wisconsin.
