Walker has roots across southern Wisconsin, as he was born in Kenosha, attended Beloit College, and now lives in Grant County, where he runs a medical clinic for underserved and uninsured patients in Prairie du Chien. Dr. Walker is running against Republican Representative Travis Tranel, who has previously been endorsed by radical anti-abortion groups seeking to outlaw the procedure in Wisconsin. Dr. Scott A. Walker is the progressive choice in this race.
