Bennett is challenging Republican Rob Summerfield, who is endorsed by an extreme right wing group that supports Wisconsin's criminal abortion ban, which prohibits abortion even in cases of rape or incest. Bennett is the more progressive choice in this race.

  • Nate Otto is deeply connected to the 68th Assembly District through his role as an Eau Claire County board supervisor, adjunct CVTC professor, former Cub Scout leader, and community volunteer. Otto loves being part of the Altoona community, and promises to advocate for issues that will protect and improve the lives of district residents. Otto's priorities include expanding rural broadband, protecting our waterways, investing in mental health support, addressing housing affordability challenges, and restoring reproductive rights in Wisconsin. Also running is Republican candidate Karen Hurd, who opposes abortion in cases of rape and incest and opposes same-sex marriage. Otto is the more progressive choice in this race.
