Representative, District 73

Democrat Nick Milroy is a Navy veteran with a background in fisheries and biology, and a record of being a strong adovacte for conservation, hunting and fishing. He's gotten bills passed under both Republican and Democratice administrations as a legislator while also standing up for progressive ideas, opposing Republican efforts to limit collective bargaining, and supporting reproductive freedom and racial equity. His opponent, City Counselor Keith Kern, who became a Republican after the 2016 election, most recently was the only City Counselor to oppose a mask requirement for the City of Superior. Kern is the Local Director of the powerful Tavern League, which has urged bars to reopen. Milroy is the more progressive choice in this race.
