Assemblyman Mark Spreitzer has made nonpartisan redistricting one of his top issues as a Representative of the 45th District; it was the first bill he ever introduced. He has also advocated for updates to marriage and family laws to ensure that gay and lesbian couples have access to the same rights as straight couples.
