Judge Bernard Veljacic is running unopposed to keep his seat on the Court of Appeals where he serves as the Acting Chief Judge of Division 2. Veljacic joined the appellate court in 2021. Before that, he served six years on the Clark County Superior Court and a combined 16 years in private sector law and as a deputy prosecutor. He has also served with the Foundation for Vancouver Public Schools board and as a high school visiting teacher in legal and civics education.
