No matter what you look like or where you were born, we all believe every child deserves a quality education that prepares them for a rapidly-changing world.
Proposition No. 1 would allow the Olympia School District to continue supporting a modern education for all students. The proposition replaces the expiring technology and capital projects levy at a rate of $0.92 per $1,000 in assessed property value in 2023, which varies slightly each year and ends at a rate of $0.94 in 2026. This funding would provide technology assistance for students with special needs, internet access for families in need, staff training, safe bike and walking paths to schools, safety lightning in school entries, and new and upgraded student computers. These benefits would cost the owner of a median $500,000 home about $460 in 2023.
Vote YES on Proposition No. 1 to continue to provide 10,000 students in Olympia with the resources they need to thrive.
