Evergreen School District
Depending on where you live, you may have one of the below school district races on your ballot.
No matter where we live and what we look like, we all believe every child deserves a quality education. Proposition No. 5, an educational and operations levy renewal proposed by the Evergreen School District's board of directors, will help ensure that our kids thrive for years to come.
Proposition No. 5 is a replacement levy at the existing tax rate. A yes vote would renew the expiring levy at a rate of $1.92 per $1,000 of assessed property value for 2023 and increase it to $2.12 in 2024 and 2025. This would cost the homeowner of a median $450,000 home about $862 a year. Funds from the levy would go toward reducing class sizes, expanding social-emotional learning, hiring school nurses and counselors, and closing funding gaps for special education and other programs.
Vote YES on Proposition No. 5 to put Evergreen School District students on the road to success.
