Pasco progressive Jennifer Goulet is a community activist with a long history of community involvement on reproductive rights and the environment. Her political background includes serving as a chair of the Franklin County Democrats and as a member of the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho. Goulet has been a vocal advocate for affordable health care, increased government accountability, and reining in the influence of corporations on our elections. If elected, Goulet states that she would want to work on the Law & Justice Committee to implement changes to criminal justice at the legislative level.
Goulet is running against Senate Minority Leader Mark Schoesler, whose voting record and actions during the coronavirus crisis have put him squarely against the interests of working families. He pushed back against Gov. Inslee's life-saving extensions of coronavirus quarantine and even refused to extend the governor's emergency order on domestic violence protective orders during the pandemic. His refusal to do the latter, which stands against even the advice of prosecutors and sheriffs, potentially put thousands of domestic violence victims at risk.
Goulet is the best choice in this race.Last updated: 2023-04-05Jenn Goulet
