Judge Linda Coburn is running for Position 2 on the Washington Court of Appeals, Divison 1, District 2 to fill the seat left behind due to Judge J. Robert Leach's retirement. Coburn has served as an Edmonds Municipal Court judge since 2015. She has had a variety of trial experiences in her career from working as a Snohomish County public defender to being a law clerk for both Judge Dwyer of the Court of Appeals and Judge Bowden of the Snohomish County Superior Court.
Coburn has earned enormous support from local Democratic organizations as well as all nine current state Supreme Court Justices. Additionally, she is rated "exceptionally well-qualified" by multiple minority bar associations, including the Washington Women Lawyers, the Loren Miller Bar Association, and the Veterans’ Bar Association of Washington.
