The Board of King County Fire Protection District 40 has proposed a six-year, $12 million levy to replace the existing fire and emergency services levy. This would extend the same levy that voters in Renton and nearby communities have approved five times before.

Fire District 40 allows residents to reduce their tax by having either monitored fire sprinkler and/or smoke detector systems. Vote yes on Proposition No. 1 to ensure our emergency responders have the equipment, training, and staff they need to keep us safe! Read more...
