Vote YES for Central Pierce Emergency Services

  • In an emergency, the last thing anyone should be worried about is whether first responders have the resources and equipment they need to do their jobs. That's why the Board of Fire Commissioners for Central Pierce Fire and Rescue has proposed Proposition 1 to restore the voter-approved rate of $1 per $1,000 of property tax for emergency services.

The number of calls to Central Pierce Fire and Rescue has increased by nearly 15 percent since 2011. Without additional funds, the district cannot continue to meet our community's need for both emergency and non-emergency calls. Proposition 1 would cost the owner of a median $305,000 home approximately about $305 a year.

Help provide our fire and rescue workers with the sustainable funding they need to keep our community safe. Vote yes on Proposition 1!
