Brandi Peetz is an office manager and an engaged community member who has served on the Spokane County Sheriff's Citizen Advisory and Review Board (CAB), the Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council, and as the Associated Student Government Vice-President for Spokane Community College. Peetz is focusing on improving community safety and building a community center and marketplace across from city hall. She also wants to implement a detailed city economic plan that focuses on increasing tourism dollars and using a retail improvement strategy.
Her opponent, incumbent Caleb Collier, has been actively pushing the far-right agenda of the city council majority. Collier supports making public school sex education optional and agrees with fellow councilmember Ed Pace's position that unvaccinated children shouldn't be required to stay home from school during an outbreak.
Peetz is the best choice in this race.
