Latino PAC

The Latino Political Action Committee of Washington is a progressive organization of Latinos that was formed in 2005. Since its formation, the Latino PAC has screened and endorsed several state and city candidates. The Latino PAC is led by local Latino leaders and offers individuals and contributors an opportunity to work on advancing the political power and well being of all Latinos in Washington State.

  • Former state Representative Monica Stonier is a teacher who believes in a partnership between education and workforce training in order to create local jobs. Stonier is a moderate Democrat from a military family who passed more bills than any other legislator during her first session in Olympia, and was a champion for public education and protecting women's health. Unfortunately, her voting record on raising revenue has disappointed some progressives. Due to her broad support from our partners and the lacking representation from women of color in the Legislature, we lean toward Stonier in this race.
