Anthony Gipe is a Gulf War veteran who helped found “QLaw,” the state LGBTQ Bar Association. The King County Pro-Tem Judge and trial lawyer is a longtime volunteer working with homeless and LGBTQ youth. Gipe has also served as the past chair of the State Bar Diversity, and as a founding board member of the Washington Leadership Institute. He has been rated “Exceptionally Well Qualified” by two of the major bar associations and has been endorsed by all nine Supreme Court Justices.
Either of these candidates would make a great judge. We hope whomever comes in second is either appointed or runs again for a different judicial seat.
