Democrat Yvonne Rorrer is a Winston-Salem native. While at Salem College, she majored in sociology. She also attended University of North Carolina Greensboro to study archaeology. Rorrer is a Court-Appointed Special Advocate and has volunteered with several organizations. She lives in Patrick County with her husband and children.
