Deteriorating infrastructure and outdated alert systems in the school district affect children's ability to learn and stay safe in their schools. This four-year levy would begin in 2020 at a rate of $0.75 per $1,000 of assessed property value, and dropping to $0.69 in 2023, initially costing the owner of a media $242,000 home about $182 a year.
