He has made public safety, neighborhood renewal, and quality city services top priorities, investing in well-equipped police and fire departments, health initiatives, and infrastructure improvements.

Siver champions housing and community development, supporting affordable housing, rehabilitating blighted properties, and creating inclusive neighborhoods. His vision extends to seniors, with programs enabling aging in place, expanded recreational spaces, and robust affordable senior housing. He is also driving redevelopment projects like Northland, attracting new businesses, supporting local entrepreneurship, and creating mixed-use spaces that strengthen the city’s economic base.

Wynett Ann Guy is running as a write-in candidate for Southfield city clerk. She brings a unique blend of military, civic, and nonprofit leadership to her campaign. A U.S. Navy veteran and trained Information Systems Technician, she combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to public service. She has a record of improving city operations, fostering civic engagement, and promoting government accountability.

Her work as a chaplain, Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention representative, housing manager, and chief administrator for multiple nonprofits demonstrates a consistent focus on community support, transparency, and effective governance. Wynett’s educational background, including a Bachelor’s in Workforce Education and Development and an honorary Doctorate of Divinity, informs her inclusive approach to leadership.

Wynett Ann Guy is the most progressive choice in this race.

Coretta Houge, a current Southfield City Council member and longtime resident, brings decades of leadership experience and community service. She is running as a write-in candidate for city clerk.

Gabi Grossbard will be the only name printed on the ballot for Southfield Clerk. He previously ran for this office in 2023 against Janet Jackson, while campaigning on an election-denial platform.

Due to his platform of promoting unfounded and debunked claims about our elections, we cannot recommend him for this role.

With 25 years in property management and degrees in human resource management and business administration, she prioritizes smart economic development, supporting local businesses, and preserving community character.

Butler focuses on transparency in city spending, responsible solutions to the deer population, and ensuring access to recreational spaces like the community pool. Her deep connection to Southfield and practical approach make her a candidate dedicated to sustaining the city’s growth, livability, and community well-being.

Daniel Brightwell, a Morehouse and Wharton graduate, has served on Southfield City Council since 2015. He brings decades of financial and community leadership. With extensive experience at Ameritech and Ford, he managed billion-dollar assets, streamlined operations to save millions and built strong relationships to protect public resources.

Beyond finance, Brightwell has served as chair of the Southfield Veterans Commission, treasurer of the Dr. MLK Jr. Task Force, and president of the Detroit chapter of the National Black MBA Association, reflecting his deep civic commitment.

Gregory Keeler, a 35-year Southfield resident, father, and grandfather, brings extensive experience in trades, engineering, and business leadership. Committed to resident-driven change, he prioritizes transparency, sustainable community development, and effective communication between council and residents.
