Judge Gregory Pittman is running for reelection to the Muskegon County Probate Court.
Judge Pittman is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law and currently serves as judge on the Muskegon County Probate Court. He was first appointed to the bench by Governor Engler in 1998. Prior to taking the bench, Pittman served as magistrate for the 60th District Court. He is an adjunct faculty member at Muskegon Community College, Baker College, and the Michigan Judicial Institute.
As judge of the Muskegon County Probate Court, Judge Pittman has served as chief judge of both the 14th Circuit Court and 61st Probate Court, as co-chair of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Michigan Children’s Welfare Improvement Task Force, and on the Michigan Supreme Court’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Workgroup. He also currently serves as chairman of the Muskegon County Election Commission. According to his campaign website, Judge Pittman has committed himself to working to improve the quality of life for all people. If reelected to the Muskegon County Probate Court, he will continue to do so.
