Shepherd is a graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School and currently serves as the Assistant City Attorney for St. Clair Shores, Eastpointe, and Grosse Pointe Farms. His private practice also encompasses criminal defense, civil litigation, probate, and estate planning. Shepherd is the past President of the Macomb County Bar Association.
According to his campaign website, Shepherd’s vision, if elected to the 41A District Court, includes equality and fairness; aiming to expand specialized courts focusing on mental health, veterans’ affairs, and drug rehabilitation; and a commitment to community well-being and justice for all.
