Emily Kurzinski is running unopposed for council member for Ward 1 of the Golden City Council. Kurzinski has served on the Golden Planning Commission and has over ten years of experience as a technology professional. She aims to support quality of life for Golden’s humans and environment, clear and effective zoning, and housing diversity and accessibility.

Gerchard Pfau is running for Golden City Council Ward 2. The son of two World Ward 2 immigrants, Pfau knows the importance of public education and public services. He is a retired geophysicist who previously worked in oil and gas. However, Pfau takes sustainability seriously and hopes to help Golden invest in renewables and the environment. He is a supporter of the solar garden and expanding Golden’s trails and pedestrian/biking services. Pfau is also dedicated to improving public transit and will aim to expand the Ore Cart lines. Pfau hopes to help Golden maintain municipal funding during federal and state level financial chaos. Pfau will work towards progress and improving quality of life in Golden.

Don Cameron is running for reelection to Golden City Council Ward 3.  He has served on the Special Events Review Committee and the Downtown Development Authority. Cameron is passionate about the numerous topics and issues that are prominent in Golden. From addressing the super cruise to Native American history, Cameron is dedicated to building a more comprehensive and encompassing city council. He is hoping to continue work on improving economic outcomes in Golden by working towards solutions for homelessness as well as developing public services. He supports a transparent and responsive government. 
Also running are Loretta Huff and Brad Prince. 
A proven leader for Golden, Cameron is the most progressive choice for Golden Ward 3.

Sanda Knecht is running for election to the Ward 4 seat of the Golden City Council. After moving to Golden in 2011, Knecht has become an engaged community member and has worked with the Golden Citizens Budget Advisory Committee, the Golden Police Department's Community Engagement Group, and the Historic Preservation Board. Knecht is running on a platform focused on leveraging tax programs, zoning and housing issues, and accountability for the large schools and corporations that make their home in Golden. 
Opposing Knecht is Brendan Firlie. Firlie does not have a public platform or website. Regardless, PNC identifies Sandra Knecht as the progressive choice for Golden’s Ward 4.

Tina Moeinian is running for JeffCo School Board District 5. A professional mediator and first generation American, Moeinian hopes to center equity and dignity within the Jeffco School Board. She hopes to help the district find resilience against federal budget cuts and political agendas. Supporting educators, ensuring success for students, and managing taxpayer dollars are important to Moeninian’s platform. She is dedicated to transparent and student centered policy that protects the power of public education. 
Also running are Mary Parker and Gloria Teresa Rascon. 
Dedicated to the idea that “everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity,” Tina Moeinian is the progressive choice for Jefferson County School Board District 5.

Peter Gibbons is running for Jeffco School Board District 2. Gibbons began his path in politics as a labor union organizer which eventually led him to pursue becoming a lawyer. He hopes to bring these experiences to the school board and feels confident in his ability to face the challenges facing JeffCo today. Gibbons hopes to invest in teachers, end censorship and cultural arguments, and restore trust in educational governance. Gibbons will support a budget and financial practices that allow all students and staff to flourish.

A believer in the importance of public education, Peter Gibbons is the progressive choice for JeffCo District 2.

Denine Echevarria is running for the Jeffco School Board District 1. Echevarria is an experienced educator and coordinator who has worked in bilingual instruction, special education, and now as operations coordinator for a non-profit. She will aim to deepen support systems for students through community and parent partnerships. Echevarria believes in student centered education and will advocate for accessible learning opportunities. Echevarria also hopes to uplift teachers and address staffing and workload difficulties to improve the educational experience for all. 
Also running is Michael Yocum. Yocum is an IT professional and does not have a particularly well fleshed out platform.
