As a House Representative, Duran has worked to support domestic violence survivors and working families. She has also advocated for and helped pass legislation for safer gun laws in Colorado. Duran believes in helping teachers and students to access the adequate resources and support needed. She also believes in expanding access to health care and protecting women’s rights.
Duran is opposed by Republican Fred Clifford, a community college educator. Clifford believes that government should not limit our rights to defend ourselves. He also believes that we should limit the growth of government.
