The Vancouver School District No. 37 is proposing a 4-year replacement levy to continue funding education programs not funded by the state. Proposition No. 3 would maintain the current levy at $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed taxable; the owner of a median $347,000 home would continue to pay $520 per year. This existing property tax would raise an average of $36 million per year for basic school operations like textbooks and staff. Vote yes on Proposition No. 3 so that our students can continue to thrive in Vancouver schools!
