The Board of Directors of the South Whidbey School District is seeking to fund safety, security, and modernization projects for their schools. The rate of $0.52 per $1,000 of assessed property value in 2020 will drop to $0.47 by 2025, costing the owner of a median $304,000 home approximately $177 per year. This levy would provide the district with funds to continue improving school technology, updating educational facilities, and improving safety.
